Description
Some rooms in a house are for doing; this one is for undoing. The Aalto is a Scandinavian sauna reimagined as a piece of architecture — a corner-set cabin where brushed Tyrol wood meets a broad, transparent glass front, so the space feels open and luminous rather than closed and clinical. It doesn't hide in a basement. It belongs in the room, a sculptural focal point that happens to hold heat.
Step inside and the design reveals its purpose. The glass keeps the cabin feeling airy and connected to the space beyond, while the wood wraps you in warmth and quiet. Benches and backrests of thermo-aspen are the kind of surface you settle into without thinking — smooth, forgiving, and naturally resistant to the moisture and wear that a sauna asks of its materials year after year. There's room here for company: an evening shared with three or four people, conversation slowing to match the heat, or a solitary session with the lights low.
Those lights are part of the ritual. Integrated color-therapy lighting runs beneath the benches and behind the backrests, shifting the mood from vivid to serene at the touch of a remote — the same cabin can feel like a celebration or a retreat depending on the evening. And because the walls are built in multiple layers around sustainable wood-fiber insulation, the heat you make stays where you want it, so every session is efficient rather than wasteful.
It arrives as a flat-packed kit designed to become part of the house rather than merely be delivered to it — panels that go together over an afternoon with a couple of helping hands, settling directly onto your existing floor. Designed and crafted in the U.S.A., the Aalto is the rare wellness purchase that earns its place in the architecture: a warm, glowing corner you'll find yourself drifting toward at the end of the day.

Before You Buy
Installation
The Aalto is built for a dry, climate-controlled indoor space and is delivered as pre-finished panels with detailed instructions. Assembly typically takes two people, basic tools, and a few hours; the 9kW Harvia Virta heater runs on a dedicated 240V, 40-amp single-phase circuit and must be connected by a licensed electrician (the lighting runs on 110V). The cabin sits directly on your existing floor, which must be level and water-resistant — concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl, or laminate are all suitable. Keep the heater's air outlet unobstructed and accessible for ventilation. Allow a minimum assembly clearance of 110" W × 110" D × 107" H, and maintain a 2" air gap between the cabin's unfinished exterior walls and adjacent surfaces. It's freestanding and can be disassembled and relocated if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people does it fit?
The Aalto comfortably accommodates three to four people, with a 53-square-foot interior and a corner layout that keeps the space open and airy.
Do I need a professional to install it?
It's a two-person, few-hour assembly of pre-finished panels with basic tools — no crane or contractor required. The one exception is the heater: the 9kW Harvia Virta runs on a dedicated 240V, 40-amp circuit and must be connected by a licensed electrician.
What kind of floor does it need?
It sits directly on your existing floor, which must be level and water-resistant. Concrete, ceramic tile, vinyl, or laminate all work. If your current flooring doesn't meet those requirements, an alternative foundation may be needed.
Can I choose which side the door is on?
Yes. The Aalto comes in mirrored corner layouts — a left or right entrance, which also sets the side of the glass corner and heater. You choose your configuration when ordering.
Can it be moved later?
Yes. The cabin is freestanding and can be disassembled and relocated if your space changes.
How is it delivered?
Free USA shipping, delivered in roughly 12–13 weeks as a made-to-order cabin via flatbed trailer. You're notified about two weeks ahead to prepare, and delivery includes on-site offloading with appropriate equipment.
