The X Tub was built to end that compromise. It's the deepest acrylic tub made, deep enough to sink in past the shoulders while you sit upright and composed, the way the ritual is meant to feel: chin above the water, spine tall, everything below the surface fully in the cold.

Fewer shared failure points, components you can actually reach and service, and a machine designed to last years rather than months.

Why is the filtration system separate from the chiller?
By design, the water pump, filtration, and sanitation live in their own dedicated cabinet rather than inside the chiller. This keeps those components accessible for service and future upgrades, lets the system use larger, stronger parts for better performance, and reduces failure points — leaving the chiller to do one simple job: control water temperature. The result is a more reliable, longer-lasting system.

Does it require plumbing?
No. The system is a closed loop with no plumbing connection required — just fill it with a garden hose and you're ready to plunge.

How easy is it to set up?
Setup takes about an hour, including filling the tub, and thorough videos cover every step of the process.

What are the electrical power requirements?
The 1.5 HP LUX chiller runs on a standard 110V outlet and draws up to 11A. Paired with the filtration system, a dedicated 15A circuit is recommended.

Do you offer financing or accept FSA/HSA payments?
Yes. Financing is available through Affirm and Shop Pay, with offers and rates based on the information you provide. FSA/HSA payments are accepted through TrueMed — select it at checkout and complete a brief qualification survey. Some accessory items may not qualify for FSA/HSA, so order those separately. You can also pay normally and submit your receipt to your provider for reimbursement.

When will I receive my order?
This is currently a pre-order, with a limited first run expected in September. Orders ship from the Southern California warehouse within 2 business days of availability, and transit typically takes 2–7 business days depending on your location.

How long should a cold plunge session last?
Start small. Most people begin with 1–3 minutes and build up gradually over weeks as their body adapts — consistency matters far more than duration, and a few minutes is enough for that unmistakable post-plunge clarity.
