Description
The Last Sauna You'll Ever Want
There's a moment, at the end of a long day, when the most valuable thing you own isn't a thing at all — it's a door you can close behind you. The Vera is that door.
Its name comes from veranda — and like the best of them, it brings light, warmth, and openness to a small footprint. From the outside it reads as architecture, not equipment: dual mirrored Parsol dark-grey glass walls, framed in deep black enamel, catch your garden and the evening light. What anyone outside sees is a quiet, sculptural object reflecting the landscape back — never the person within. It belongs on the patio of a home built with intention, because it was too.
Then you open the door, and the register changes. Thermally modified Tyrol panels wrap the interior in warmth and scent; the Thermo-Aspen benches are deep enough to truly settle into. The Harvia Virta — among the finest heaters made — builds a rich, enveloping heat within the hour, held by multi-layer insulation that gives almost nothing back to the night. Recessed color light shifts the room to whatever the evening asks for. You sit. The glass holds the world out. And for a while, nothing is required of you.
This is not a purchase you make twice — and it isn't built to be. Thermally modified wood, marine-grade enamel, and a commercial-caliber Harvia heater: the Vera is made to stand in the weather for years and still feel like the day it arrived. You pre-heat it from your phone on the drive home, and it's waiting at temperature when you walk through the gate.
People spend on many things trying to buy back a sense of calm and a sense of place. The Vera gives you both, permanently, in your own backyard — a private sanctuary that asks for a small footprint and returns the rarest luxury there is: somewhere, entirely your own, to stop.
For the person who has built a beautiful life and wants a place inside it to simply be — this is that place.

Care & Maintenance
Wipe down the benches, vacuum the interior, and clean the glass. Sit on a towel and leave the door open afterward to ventilate. Once a year, remove the sauna stones, clean the heater cavity, and replace any cracked stones.
Safety Information
Sauna use isn't right for everyone. Consult your physician before use, especially if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any cardiovascular or other medical concern. Begin with shorter, lower-heat sessions and build up, alternate heat with cool-down breaks, avoid alcohol before use, hydrate, and step out if you stop feeling comfortable.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to heat up?
On average about 40–50 minutes to reach ~170°F, depending on the outdoor temperature. The 8kW Harvia Virta is designed for consistent, reliable heat — and with Wi-Fi pre-heat, you can start it from your phone so it's ready when you are.
Can people see inside?
No — the dual mirrored Parsol dark-grey glass is two-way: you see your surroundings clearly from inside, while from outside the glass reflects the landscape and conceals the interior. The door is lockable.
What's the difference between a wet and dry sauna?
A dry sauna runs at low humidity; a wet sauna lets you pour water over the heated stones to create steam. Both are safe with the Harvia heater — it's personal preference.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes — the 8kW Harvia Virta heater must be hardwired at 240V by a licensed electrician; the lighting typically runs on a 110V, 15-amp circuit. That's the only professional trade the installation requires.
What does it cost to run?
The 240V heater draws power only while in use — roughly comparable to running an electric oven or dryer, typically just cents per session. Turning it off when not in use conserves energy.
How does delivery day actually work?
The Vera arrives fully assembled on a flatbed trailer, and you're notified about two weeks ahead to prepare. A forklift or crane lifts it into position — so the main planning task is a clear path and the right equipment on site. Once it's placed and the electrician connects the heater, it's ready to use.
What if I need assistance after delivery?
Email hello@aurelinewellness.com and our team will help with placement, installation, or operating questions after your sauna arrives.
